Bought my first new pair of sunglasses in a decade today. Ten years ago I was working in aerospace and defence, when uber modern Oakleys were de rigeur. I still love ’em but they’re getting a bit like middle aged blokes wearing cargo pants: a bit sad.

Now older, wiser, and still following my style icons. Time for something classic. Sixties styling. And a tenner in Boots. I’m sure JFK would have approved.
